Listening
|
Aurelien has a good understanding of spoken English at this level.

in written form. He always asks for clarification when he is unsure.
Sometimes he needs to rely on his own ability rather than depending
on other students for explanations.

He always responds quickly to questions asked of him and is quick
to offer answers to questions aimed at the whole group.

Aurelien can read and comprehend most of what he reads at this
level. He seeks clarification when he doesn't understand the meaning
of new words. His general understanding is good but he needs to
take care when extracting specific detail.

Writing
|
Aurelien has worked hard at his writing. He has practised constructing
longer sentences and using linking words to introduce into his writing.
He has some good ideas for writing but needs to ensure that he can
express his ideas suitably in English, rather than trying to translate
from French. This should enable him to write at a faster pace.

level and is keen to learn new structures. He is able to apply new
structures intelligently in different situations.
